Responsible Playing

Play Responsibly

Phantom Competitions is designed to be a fun and sociable way to take part in competitions and instant wins. We’re committed to promoting responsible play and encouraging customers to only participate for entertainment and within their means.

If you feel your play is becoming difficult to control, we want to help you as quickly as possible.

Signs your play may be becoming a problem

You might want to take a break if you recognise any of the following:

  • Playing as a way to make money, rather than for entertainment

  • Spending more time or money than you planned

  • Chasing losses or trying to “win it back”

  • Playing to escape stress, worries, or financial difficulty

  • Borrowing money or selling items to keep playing

  • Feeling unable to stop, cut down, or stick to limits

Tools to help you stay in control

We provide built-in account tools so you can manage your play easily and responsibly.

Spending Limits
Set a maximum amount you can spend over a chosen period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once your limit is reached, you won’t be able to place further paid entries until the limit resets.
👉 Manage your limits here:

Timeouts / Breaks
Take a short break from playing. During a timeout, you won’t be able to purchase entries.
👉 Set a timeout via your account:

Account Lock
If you feel you need a longer break, you can lock your account for a set period. While locked, you won’t be able to play.
👉 Lock your account here:

What we may do to promote responsible play

As a responsible business, we actively monitor play to help ensure customers participate safely and within their means.

If we notice behaviour that appears unusual or excessive, we may take action, including:

  • Reaching or repeatedly increasing spending limits

  • High-frequency purchases over a short period

  • Attempts to reopen an account during an active lock or timeout

  • Any pattern suggesting play may be becoming difficult to control

In these cases, we may contact you to check in, suggest using responsible play tools, or apply temporary or permanent restrictions where necessary to protect customer wellbeing.
